If pupils need to carry their own medication in school i.e. inhaler, then parents will be asked to complete "Parental request for pupil to carry their medication" form. If parents require staff to administer medication to pupils then a "Parental Request for School to Administer Medication" form should be completed. These forms can be accessed here or on the menu on the left.

Parent Termly Guides

Each term we produce "Parents Termly Guides" which lets parents know what class work their children will be concentrating on, what project they are doing and how they can help their child. These and other documents which may be of interest can be found in the menu on your left.

Please feel free to contact us if there is any other useful information we can add.

VCOP Writing Guide for Parents

Writing is a major part of the curriculum and along with reading, listening and talking, makes a significant contribution to the development of children as thinkers and learners.
Writing involves a set of complex skills that will not develop without structured teaching and practice. In Lunnasting Primary School we are trialling the Ros Wilson approach to writing. This
approach is based on child centered, interactive learning with a focus on four core targets of Vocabulary, Connectives, Openers and Punctuation (V.C.O.P).

A Writing Guide for Parents is available here.
